SIRACH, the networking organisation for promoting new technology in refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump, is running a FREE event dedicated to community heating and cooling at BRE, Watford on the 5th July.
Community heating and cooling is currently big news across Europe with the system becoming increasingly popular across the continent. SIRACH has gathered some of the top experts in the field exploring the numerous benefits of community heating and cooling including energy efficiency and carbon emission reduction.
The day’s schedule includes many talks as well as the presentation of a new IOR technical paper dedicated to large scale heat pumps for high efficiency district heating projects. Kenneth Hoffman, the author of this paper will explain the current surge of popularity of industrial heat pumps, draw observation from the ammonia heat pumps being installed across Europe as well as discussing optimisation solution to keep them safe in densely populated area.
Delegates will have the chance to tour the BRE HVAC testing laboratories and see the ground-breaking BRE Innovation Park in Watford, which features full-scale demonstration buildings displaying innovative design, materials and technologies.
