In July 2015 BRE were one of 10 organisations who opened our doors as part of the inaugural IET Engineering Open House.
Over 30 young people and their parents took a trip behind the scenes of BRE to find out what it’s like to be an engineer and learn about jobs that engineers do.
During the day our group of aspiring engineers visited laboratories – the Burn Hall, Anechoic Chamber, Wind Tunnel – and had a chance to explore prototype houses on our Innovation Park. It was an inspiring day all round and you can see just some of their thoughts in this video from IET.TV
We had a great day – and it looks like they did too!
Same again next year? Why not! Keep an eye on Engineering a better world to find out more.
