Note: This press release is over six months old and the details may have been superseded. Please contact the Press Office for the latest information.

Award winning masterplanning, architecture and interior design practice AWW has been awarded BRE Global BIM Level 2 Business Systems Certification.

With studios in London, Bristol and Plymouth, AWW has worked with national and international clients ranging from the NHS and the BBC to Radisson Hotels and Imperial Brands delivering a range of public and private sector projects across a multitude of sectors.

AWW Director Charles Jordan said: “Our ability to deliver exceptional built environments is emblematic in the collaborative approach we take. BIM further enables this collaboration by providing clarity, certainty and efficiency for our clients and is an integral part of the workflow on all of our projects – we are delighted to have achieved this certification.”

Gareth Sewell Associate Director of BIM at BRE said: “AWW’s collaborative ethos is very strong in all they do and this made the adoption of the BIM process for them a no-brainer. They already had a lot of relevant processes in place so the certification process was relatively easy for them to adopt from a cultural point of view.”

BRE Global’s BIM Level 2 Business Systems Certification scheme assesses a business in relation to its BIM capability and policy as outlined in PAS 1192-2:2013 and the PAS 91:2013 standards. It also considers the ability of the business to meet the requirements of an employer to implement BIM on a project.
