CoRE is a conference and training venue situated in a refurbished pottery works constructed to a BREEAM Excellent standard. CoRE’s outstanding facilities host national and international events and industry-focused seminars.
CoRE’s demonstration space provides living working models and exhibitions to train all types of construction related tradespeople as well as business owners and management level professionals on site. The centre showcases the latest sustainable building solutions and provides knowledge to trades people to embrace new technology and techniques to help build a low carbon future for homes in the UK.
The building itself has had thermal and air tightness improvements made and the kilns were used to promote stack ventilation, with warm air being drawn inside the kiln to heat recovery units before being expelled through kiln caps.

Training events are held throughout the year and the venue can be hired for up to 100 people. With the option of having meetings in a former pottery kiln, events held at CoRE make for an unforgettable experience.
