SABRE at Data Centre World 2017

There is a shared interest amongst data centre users, service providers and consumers in there being effective and proportionate security at data centres. This requires a security-minded approach to data centre planning, design, construction, operation and outsourcing. It requires a common understanding of what ‘good’ security looks like. Furthermore, service providers need to be able to offer ‘good’ security and buyers need to know how to ask for ‘good’ security.

BRE Global will be at the Data Centre World event in Excel London, on 15th and 16th March 2017 introducing the sector to SABRE, the new security certification scheme which enables owners and operators to measure, evaluate and communicate the security risk management credentials of their data centre facilities. Facilities meeting the requirements of SABRE are awarded LPCB certification and a SABRE Rating (ranging from Acceptable to Outstanding) which users, service providers and consumers can use as a benchmark when sourcing services, and in facility procurement and management.

Visit us at stand B73, or join us on Wednesday 15th between 13:45 and 14:10 in the Design and Build & Physical Security Theatre where SABRE’s Gavin Jones will discuss the importance of security risk management.
